Young Scholars First Annual Science Fair

Young Scholars hosted its first annual Science Fair on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012. Students competed in the following three categories: life science, physics, and chemistry. Parents, visitors, and other classrooms were able to view all of the projects in the morning, while judging occurred in the afternoon. It was a tough competition to judge, and the following students were awarded:

Life Science: 1st place - Prudence, 2nd place - Shanna, 3rd place - K'aijha

Physics: 1st place - Austin, 2nd place - Ryan, 3rd place - Josh

Chemistry: 1st place - Yunus (4th grade), 2nd place - Sofiya, 3rd place - Kylie

Most Creative Board Presentation - Kevan

Best Presentation - Yunus (4th grade)

Mad Scientist - Sofiya

We can't wait to see what the students come up with next year!
